| Horological Research Institute of Light Industry ( HRILI), |
| the unique national horological research institute, was |
| founded in 1963. |
| |
| Since its establishment, HRILI has focused research |
| on the nation¡¯s needs and frontiers in time-keeping |
| theories in China. Based on these valuable experiences, |
| we' ve gradually formed three main distinctive |
| technologies: time keeping , precise machining on small |
| size and measurement, character changing of |
|
|
| materials¡¯surface ,and completed a series of research items and products. In the last few |
| decades , more than 300 creative achievements have been completed ,among which 60 have |
| been rewarded by different ministries , such as the national unified mechanical watchmovement, |
| the first needle quartz watch of China, time controller for multi-periods of time, |
| multifunctional chronograph, equipment using timers , areo dynamaci bearing,ect. |

| Meanwhile, the 4 horological technical service centers:China National Horological Quality |
| Supervision and Testing Center¡¢ China National Horological Standardization Technical |
| Committee¡¢National Light Industry Horolog Information Center¡¢and , Horological Industry |
| Training Center of HRILI, are all set up in HRILI. |

| For 40 years, staff of HRILI has made large efforts to precise time keeping and area of |
| horologcial service and made great contributions to nation¡¯s development in economy, defense, |
| science technology, and many other sectors. |
